Terms of Use

By using remodelhome you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language. If anything is unclear, email info@nicomelian.com.

1. The service

remodelhome is an AI interior design tool. You upload a photo of a room, pick a style, and we generate a redesigned version using third-party AI models on your behalf. Each generated design consumes one credit from your account balance.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. Don't share your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email us and we'll lock the account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use remodelhome to generate:

• Sexually explicit content depicting minors. This is an absolute zero-tolerance rule. Accounts are terminated and reported to authorities.
• Sexually explicit content depicting real, identifiable people without their permission.
• Content that impersonates a specific real person in a misleading or defamatory way.
• Content depicting graphic violence intended to incite harm.
• Content used to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against individuals or groups.
• Content infringing trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property of others.
• Content used for fraud, scams, or deceiving people in a financial transaction.
• Content used to generate fake identification documents.
• Content used to evade content moderation by other platforms.

We use automated safety filters and reserve the right to refuse generations or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Ownership of generated images

You own the images you generate. You can use them commercially, modify them, resell them, and license them however you want, subject to the acceptable-use rules above and to any applicable law about AI-generated content in your jurisdiction.

We do not claim ownership of your generations and we do not watermark them. We may use your generated images only with your explicit permission (for example if you tag us publicly or opt in to a testimonial).

5. Subscriptions and credits

• Credits are granted through an active paid subscription. A free account on its own does not include design credits.
• Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance that varies by tier (Basic, Pro, Studio).
• Each design generation consumes 1 credit.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from your account. You keep access (and any unused credits already granted) until the end of the current billing period.
• Credits do not expire while your account exists.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

6. Refunds

If you have an issue with a payment, email us within 14 days. We can issue a full refund of an unused billing period. We do not refund credits already spent on generations, but if a generation fails on our side (server error, timeout) the credit is automatically returned to your balance.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but remodelhome is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the service offline for maintenance, model upgrades, or for any reason. If extended downtime affects your usage, contact us and we'll make it right.

8. Disclaimers and limitations

Image generation is non-deterministic. Two runs of the same prompt produce different outputs. We don't guarantee any specific result. AI models may produce outputs that are inaccurate, biased, or unexpected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, remodelhome is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. On termination, unused paid credits are refunded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes, we'll notify active users by email and update the date at the top. Continuing to use remodelhome after the changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which remodelhome is operated. Disputes will be resolved in good faith through email first. If unresolved, the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction.
