How accurate is AI interior design?
Visually very accurate, dimensionally approximate. The AI produces photoreal renders that match real materials, lighting, and style, but it does not measure your space or specify exact products.
Think about accuracy in three layers. Visual accuracy is high: the AI preserves your walls, windows, and overall layout and applies the new style convincingly across materials, lighting, and furniture. Daylight, eye-level photos of normal rooms produce believable results almost every time.
Dimensional accuracy is not the goal: the AI does not measure the room, so the size of a sofa or the width of a rug in the render is approximate. For build documentation you still need a designer with a tape measure.
Use the output for visualization, style exploration, and as a reference image, not as a construction plan.
